Funding for Kent Autistic Trust secured for next five years

6.06.03pm GMT Tue 16th Mar 2010

Kent Autistic Trust has been successful in a Big Lottery Bid and has received a grant to fund both its Family Support Officer posts for five years from 1st April 2010.

Folkestone West County Councillor, Tim Prater, commented:

"This is great news for independent advice for support for those dealing with Autism locally. With previous funding running out, Kent County Council had provided short term funding through until April, and its fantastic news that this service should be secure for another five years."
